International Workshop on
Symbolic Methods and Applications to Circuit Design

This Workshop is organised by the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications, Università degli Studi di Firenze, Italy.

The first such workshop was organised in 1991 in Bagneux, France. Subsequent workshops were held  in Firenze, Italy (1992), Seville, Spain (1994), Leuven, Belgium (1996), Kaiserslautern, Germany (1998), Lisbon, Portugal (2000), Sinaia, Romania (2002) and Wroclaw, Poland (2004).

TOPICS

Papers on all aspects of symbolic and hybrid symbolic/numeric techniques, related to analysis and design of electronic circuits and systems, are welcome. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Recent advances in symbolic analysis techniques, design tools and methodologies;
  • Applications of computer algebra in analysis and design of circuits and systems;
  • Symbolic simulators for analogue and digital circuits;
  • Circuit design and design automation involving symbolic techniques;
  • Industrial applications of symbolic methods;
  • Symbolic methods in teaching of electrical/electronic engineering.
